That vision for Oak Ridge High School’s Junior Class is that we become one.
We do this not by losing our individuality but combining our potentials.
No longer do we have to live in a society where our opinions go unnoticed.
The internet has opened the door for the flow of democratic process.
We live in the United States of America and every man is created equal.
You should know what is happening. You should voice how you feel.
Why is there student government?
Why?
Student government has strayed away from its purpose.
It is not a position.
It is a job.
A job elected by the people for the people.
A job with the responsibility to lead over 400 people to serve each and every single one in the best possible manner.
A job to help mobilize over 400 unique people to accomplish any task.
I, Rowan Chakoumakos, is willing to take this job and lead.
